SMT Hotspot Tool 1.21 — Updated October 14, 2026 01. SMT Tool 1.21 Welcome to SMT Hotspot Tool version one point twenty one, released October fourteenth, twenty twenty six. This update focuses on cleaner customer messages and improved Netgear band selection. We will show the changed screens and explain what stayed the same. These interface examples do not perform any repair, flash, or band write on a real modem. 02. Private repair details Netgear customer logs now filter private modem commands, unlock keys, challenge values, and programming source fragments. Technical errors also pass through that filter, so an error cannot reveal the private details. Customers still see useful connection instructions and normal repair completion messages. This change affects what the tool displays; it preserves the underlying repair workflow. 03. Netgear band locking The band menu now identifies the connected Netgear from its own response, rather than requiring its Windows USB name to contain the model number. It also recognizes regional model suffixes. The tool reads the modem’s own LTE and supported five G band table. Different hardware and firmware can expose different bands or command layouts. A valid live response is required before a change is allowed. 04. Choose and apply bands To choose a custom selection, clear Automatic and tick the bands you want. Review the selected modem and confirm the selection before choosing Apply bands. Five G non standalone operation needs an LTE anchor. Automatic restores the original band profile. The screen shows whether reset recovery is installed. Version one point twenty one removes the older reviewed or tested on this device wording. The pictured band reading is an interface example. 05. Credits and accounts The existing account, repair credit, and license workflows remain in place. Your monthly Remote Mods device plan is separate from repair credits and an unlimited repair license. This update does not introduce a new activation price. Use the same account email in the tool and on the website. 06. Models and services The Flash Types directory continues to show model and service information. Netgear and Inseego repair workflows, original USB tools, and the existing device agent packages were preserved for this release. Band selection does not add radio frequencies that the hardware does not support. This update was checked with isolated software tests and package validation; it is not a claim that every regional modem was physically tested. 07. Get the official update Download SMT Hotspot Tool one point twenty one from hotspot repairs dot com, or use the tool’s automatic updater. The update feeds were checked for both the older one point six point eighteen tool and version one point twenty. Version one point twenty one does not repeatedly offer itself as a newer update. Keep using your existing account. Microsoft publisher verification is still in progress; update integrity signatures are separate from a Windows publisher certificate. 08. What changed in 1.21 Version one point twenty one is a focused update: private customer logs, better Netgear band model detection, and clearer band menu wording. Fourteen isolated checks passed, and the compiled filters were checked against the final source. The website and both update feeds are live. For all the unchanged tool pages and remote device controls, the complete one point twenty walkthrough remains available as a reference. Thank you for using SMT Hotspot Tools.
