Use supported controls

Shared Inseego carrier unlock is available with the 1.20 device agent after root and vendor status checks. IMEI, TTL/HL and other controls keep their model and firmware requirements. Internet notices and speed controls require compatible device-agent support.

Add it once over USB

Use SMT Tool to check compatibility and root access, then enter the Remote Token from your paid device plan. After setup, the modem connects directly to the service. Available repairs depend on the verified model and firmware.

See how remote modem repairs work.

Watch the complete tool and website tour: both detection menus, repair choices, example signal and speed checks, tokens, device groups and task results.

  1. Check your modem. Connect one powered-on device by USB, name it in SMT Tool and run the firmware check.
  2. Get its token. Use your SMT account to add the correct device plan. Copy the account-linked Remote Token from your portal or email.
  3. Pair once. Enter the token in the tool and wait for installation and device validation.
  4. Control it online. Open Account → Remote devices from your phone or PC. Select the correct card, confirm an available action and follow its verified result.

The modem needs its own power and Internet after pairing; the setup PC can disconnect. Screens and results in the video are simulated. Exact model and firmware determine available repairs. The 1.20 installer is now available. This tour was recorded during preview; its example results are simulated.

Setup eligibility does not guarantee every repair.Available buttons depend on firmware and verified device support. FX4100 / FX4200 TTL is unavailable. Other Netgear models remain local-service only.
